Awesome!

In 1969 a young Australian, John Rendall and his friend Ace Bourke, bought a small lion cub from Harrods pet department, which was then legal. ‘Christian’ was kept in the basement of a furniture shop on the Kings Road in Chelsea, the heart of the swinging sixties. Loved by all, the affectionate cub ate in a local restaurant, played in a nearby graveyard, but was growing fast…

A chance encounter with Bill Travers and Virginia McKenna led to a new life for Christian. He came to live in a huge enclosure and to sleep in a caravan at their Surrey home. Then in 1971 he was flown to Kenya, his ancestral home, and returned to the wild by lion-man George Adamson. Nine months later in 1972, John and Ace returned to Kora in Kenya. This clip is of their reunion at that time.

It was an emotional reunion: “He ran towards us, threw himself onto us, knocked us over and hugged us, with his paws on our shoulders.”

John Rendall

Yes! Candice Swanepoel a.k.a one of the cute Victoria’s Secret model! ルンルン♪

I’ve always thought she looked really cuter than the other models I’ve seen.
So, I googled her and BAM! えっ The first thing I saw was ‘Candice Swanepoel (born October 20, 1988)’.

Haha! にひひ

Last time I checked, the only one was Snoop Dogg!! にょほほ

Family day at Punggai Bayu Beach Resort.

Had a 2D1N stay at Punggai for our annual neighbourhood family day on the weekend.

On saturday morning, everyone gathered around a few minutes to take some pics.
Then some more at the nearby neighbourhood park.

Haven’t got any of those pictures yet nor videos cause haven’t received the DVD they said they’re making for this whole trip. Must’ve contain lots of pictures. If not I’m gonna kill someone.

I’m not really excited about this whole thing cause it’s held at Punggai Resort. I’ve been there before and it sucks.

It still sucks to this day and I know as soon as I arrived that it’s going to be terrible.
But something makes me feel a little excited and I’m not telling anyone about it.

All of us convoyed together but some of us went lost, separated and we arrived first in the end. Sweet.

The seaside’s real pretty.

Initially wanna went for a swim there but…

Oh well…

The trees there all got very nice textures, can’t help but to snap…

My mom. She’s a big fan of nature.

Me, can’t resist a shot with the awesome trees. Love the leaves.

Kaklong. Love the trees behind.

Something my sister found. Thought it was a baby durian. Is it?

And then it’s lunch…

And game time…

Farah and Butit (middle).

Mama during apple-gobbling showdown.

Mama got photobombed.

The games are all mediocre and passe and I’ve done it dozens of time already. Wish they could change the gameplay next year.

Our prizes and gifts. More not shown.

Me at dinner.

Harry, Mama and I the next day before after breakfast.

Harry went on a swim at the pool afterwards but didn’t manage to get a pic of him swimming. Too bad.

Before lunch, Mama, Kaklong and I played a bit of beach volleyball with the others. It’s harder than I thought it would be. Even got the ball slammed onto my face once.

And I can’t even serve properly!

But it’s quite fun.
Although I didn’t get to touch the ball very often.

Really wanted to take some pics of the volleyball game but my sisters’ are all busy in the pool.
But I think there would be some of it in the DVD.

Must. have. BE.

Anyway after hours in the pool, Harry got so caught up in it, he didn’t wanna leave! Even when he’s the only one left there.

It was so cute when he screamed and didn’t wanna move from there.

Harry on the swings.

Well, it’s not all that bad.
I wish they could’ve improved some of it.

But anyway, I didn’t regret going.

Fuyu no neko. (kawaii alert!)

OMG, they’re so adorable and snuggable! Kawaii….!!!!!!!!~

So cute!

Kuma samurai.

Uneasy sighting.

[24/5/2010]

This evening before we reached the hospital for our physio appointment, saw this.

Not exactly what I wanna see when I’m riding a bike.

Late-night steamboat.

[23/5/2010]

We had steamboat last night.

Really love steamboat cause it’s like eating yong tauhu.
Except you have to cook ‘em up yourself, of course. That’s the thrill.

My second serving.

The beef strips above was the one I missed out on the last time I ate here.
Didn’t know it was sooo yummy with the black pepper coatings I didn’t notice before!

Such waste!

But I didn’t really enjoy eating like last time. We came at 10pm and it’s closing already shortly after.

And I left one of my peeled tiger prawns uneaten.

What a waste.
